However, hope shines in the darkest hour, and so it is with even the drow. The drow goddess Eilistraee is as good-hearted as any surface elf deity, and her clerics work tirelessly to foster good relations between the people of the Realms and those drow that choose to live on the surface. More and more drow are turning to Eilistraee and the hope she represents, hope for a new life on the surface, away from the death and intrigue of the Underdark.
Not all follow her path...
The last High Hunt held by one of the drow communities in the High Forest was during the summer solstice. Schaelia, one of the huntresses, struck the killing blow against the Beast of Malar they were hunting, and as a reward received the Argent Crescent, a mithral lap-heart strung with a hair from Eilistraee herself.
A month after the High Hunt found Schaelia in a small glen, giving a private performance to a small group of drow and bards. Without warning, a dozen moon elves attacked, badly wounding Schaelia before stealing the harp and fleeing.
Schaelia, unable to persue the thieves, beseeched the listeners to run in her stead. Although wounded themselves, her audience were quick to agree, most of them to run in pursuit while a few tend to Schaelia's wounds.
((I suppose an alternate name for this adventure would be "Lunar Tunes" =p
The participants in this adventure are Nildax, Virgil, Soil, Rainee, and Krisha. Each of the participants is at half Hp (round up). Spellcasters have all of their spell slots ready. Please post any actions you are taking, such as dialog, preparing light sources, casting healing spells, or whatever, before you run off after the elves. Each of you knows everyone's name, but not much else. Virgil needs to note if he is currently wearing his circlet; if he is, a great deal of suspicion will fall upon him.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Otherwise, start posting and have fun! -Sy))
