Standing slightly behind the cloaked man and slightly to the side are two figures, an elven hunter, who carries himself with a sneer on his face, it is obvious he is only here because of the promised rewards. With a ready bow, Fearan Fey would just as quickly turn on these two if the proffered reward was greater.
The other, a human, stands as a contrast to the archer's lawless care for anyone but himself. Although just as tangibly evil, Ezequiel Blackstone serves the dark wizard Mezeratis of his own free will, living on the boons such an arangement offers, using his developing skills as a Dark Knight in Mezeratis' service.
The cloaked man turns to the two "I wish for you to seek out the shards of the Silver Star, at this moment our enemies have 2 of the shards, and our allies 3 of them. There are several more to be found, and I will have them. Take this," he hands Ezequiel a small journal, "With this I will comunicate with you every day, write your findings thus far into it, and I will write my instructions into this linked tome. The first shard should be in the possession of one of Neverwinter's nobel houses. The owner has no idea what the shard is, only that it is a good luck charm of some sort. Take it from him, I do not care how, just do it."
The cloaked figure takes the hilt of the sword and using the small portion of the blade still attached to it makes a quick slash in the air. The air around the blade seems to part and a shimmering gateway to another place far far away opens. "Do not fail me, you know the price of failure," he looks at Ezequiel sternly "Especially you Ezequiel." With that the cloaked man steps through the portal which closes behind him.
