The hooded man bows gracefully - almost *too* gracefully - and straightens, revealing a bronze key between his fingers. "Room eight, I believe?" he says in a quiet voice. "Please go on in; our mutual friend should be here shortly."
Inside, the man reaches under the bed and pulls out a long, slender scimitar, which he procedes to fasten to his belt. A moment later, he also withdraws a flask of wine and a plate of cups. He sets the plate down on the table and begins pouring wine for everyone else, but leaves his own face covered.
"My name is Anaxagoras Sia, but call me Nax. Like Miss Shieldheart here, I am a guild member of good standing and was invited to this meeting. You, rogue, and you, necromancer, are here without official invitation, but... another has spoken on your behalf. I trust I need not elaborate upon the consequences of violating your patron's faith, but I offer you one chance to simply walk away."
Silence reigns for a minute as the three adventurers eye each other, Nax, and the door. No one moves to leave, of course, but Nax merely waits. An awkward few minutes pass as Traldar and Calcereous eye each other, wondering which one will try a prank first, but both freeze when the door opens again, admitting two more people into the room.
The first to enter is a slender woman, cloaked and masked much like Nax, but dark green hair can be seen in the shadows of her hood. She walks with a smooth, swaying step to stand beside Nax. Behind her (and probably enjoying the view) is the halfling from before.
"<Well met, my dear!>" says the halfling in Hin to Darella. "And it's... profitable to see you too, Traldar. I see you brought a friend along for the ride," he continues in common Tradespeak. He grins at Calcereous, but the necromancer trusts that grin less than a lich's. "I suppose you're all wondering why I've brought you out here? It's simple, really."
"It's supposed to be easier to say than to do, so out with it already!" snarls Calcereous, his temper already shot.
"I need you to sneak into the temple of Talona, Goddess of Poison, and retrieve an item called the 'Cobra's Hood'."
